Group Therapy in WEST LiNN: We Just haven't changed the name yet

Our licensed therapists lead DBT-Informed Skills Group for patients who are seeking more support outside of weekly or bi-weekly individual sessions with their therapists. Our DBT-Informed Skills Group is appropriate for patients who have attended an intake session at Oregon City DBT and who are not actively suicidal. At this time, we recommend a Full-Fidelity Program for actively suicidal patients in need of more robust support, rather than our group therapy in Oregon City.

For those who have not attended group therapy in Oregon City before, our DBT-Informed Skills Group involves a small group of patients meeting with an Oregon therapist who facilitates the group for 14 weeks. Our group meets once per week in the evenings, so you can attend our group after work or school for additional mental health support.

Our Oregon DBT therapists have specialized training that allows them to teach skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness that can be useful to patients undergoing DBT for a variety of reasons. Group therapy can be incredibly useful in allowing you to make connections with others in your situation, so you know that you are never alone in your healing journey.
